Formulation and evaluation of nano-ethogel of silver sulfadiazine for treatment of topical burns

چکیده

The present study deals with the formulation of ethosomal suspension containing silver sulfadiazine, followed by its incorporation into a hydrogel, leading to novel vesicular nano-ethogel sulfadiazine for treatment topical burns. Silver Sulfadiazine ethosomes were prepared hot method suggested Elka Touitou. This was loaded hydrogel made Carbopol 934 in ratio 1:1. chosen as gelling agent it do not cause any sort skin irritation. nanoethosomal formulations SSD evaluated their physical appearance, pH, spreadability, viscosity, extrudability, drug content. In vitro release studies performed five hours and observed that F4 had maximum amount released within duration i.e. 76.80%. complete wrap up this approach incorporated provides an advance sustained targeted delivery sulfadiazine.
